Membership is free.

Join the dojo. No fee. No card. No form that collects your details. Start with a free account you control.

How to join

Four steps. About ten minutes.

You do not sign up with us. You set up your own place to work, and you are in.

  1. Make a free GitLab.com or GitHub account

Use the one you already have, or create one: GitLab.com sign-up or GitHub sign-up. Both are free. Git is the source of truth in the dojo, so this account is where your work will live.

  2. Copy the learner templates

Create a new repository of your own and copy in the starter files: the templates for your product brief, personas, journeys, epics and weekly notes. A one-click learner template repository is planned; until then, copying the files is all you need.

  3. Open your first issue

In your own repository, open an issue that says what product you want to own and who it is for. Use the issues and labels guide. One honest sentence is enough. That issue is your first piece of work.

  4. Join the community

The community space is opening soon. We will link it here the day it is real. Until then, follow the project on GitHub and check the Events page.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is membership really free?

Yes. There is no fee, no trial, no card to enter and no paid tier. Developer Dojo is run by Curiosity Research Corporation and sponsored by Reveltek, so training stays free for anyone.

Do I need to give you my name or email?

No. This website has no sign-up form and collects no personal data. Your account is with GitLab or GitHub, not with us. If you contact us or submit a challenge, you choose what to share.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. A developer today owns a whole product and steers AI agents that do much of the typing. You start with customers, plans and clear writing. Curiosity matters more than experience.

My English is not perfect. Is that a problem?

No. We write in plain words on purpose, and we ask you to write in your own plain words too. Clear thinking matters more than perfect grammar.

Is there a certificate?

Certificates exist for the Developer, Master Developer and Sensei ranks. A certificate is added to the public registry only when one has really been issued. We do not claim accreditation.

Can I use AI tools?

Yes, and you are expected to learn them. The rules are simple: people write the epics and the roadmap, and you tell people when and how you used AI. See The Way.

Where is the community?

The community space is opening soon. We will not point you to a place that is not ready. This page will link it when it opens.

How should members behave?

Be kind, be specific, and be patient with learners. Read the code of conduct.
